IBU Lunch & Learn – Covid19 or Brexit?: How to avoid late payments in your post-lockdown business
Jul 3rd | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm UTC+0
Whilst the national restrictions are in place, we will introduce a number of additional online activities so grab your plate and join us for our weekly IBU Lunch & Learn each Friday at 1PM.
This week we have Clayton M Cole with “Covid19 or Brexit?: How to avoid late payments in your post-lockdown business”.
A presentation for businesses worrying about their financial future.
Most businesses do not fail from having a bad idea or bad management although those factors do contribute to that. What usually kills businesses is cashflow!
They say that cash is king but many businesses ignore the obvious signs that indicate they are not going to get paid and that their businesses will fail.
We will discuss these issues as well as highlighting why financing is a good short-term fix but can become addictive in the long-term. We will then close off with some strategies to help you minimise the risk of Late Payment in your business.
This session is ideal for:
– For those who have an established business or start-ups businesses with no current Late Payment processes in place.
– Finance professionals, Finance Directors, Directors of Limited Companies and Sole Traders are also encouraged to attend.
Clayton M Coke FRSA is the Founder & Managing Director of PRMS Ltd a Late Payment Management company based in the City of London. Clayton trained as a Legal Executive and Mediator and has worked in Private practice Local Authority, Central Government as well as an in-house Lawyer.
Clayton is also the host of the Mr Coke’s Casebook video series, highlighting historical cases and the lessons learned and The Cashflow Show podcast where we talk to a business owner or entrepreneur and hear the tales of the origins of their business, their successes & failures and their future in the business world.
