Let Go of Stress and Empower Your Well-being

Come along to part two of Jan Carpenter’s lively workshop on achieving better wellbeing.

In this workshop, you’ll find out about:

  1. The Pillars of Flourishing – move forward on 8 areas of your life to feel a deeper sense of wellbeing.  You will start completing a self-assessment tool to take away with you.

  2. How your brainwaves connect to your heart, gut and spinal cord and how to optimise and harmonise your brain waves, with or without a brainwave headband,  to optimise your wellbeing.

  3. How, often hidden, unresolved emotions stemming from life or workplace trauma have more of an impact on our feelings, thoughts and behaviour, as well as our physical, mental and social health, than we might expect.

You will experience a self Havening guided visualisation during the session leaving you with positive affirmations and feeling relaxed.

The session will give you a deeper awareness of these tools and more on the how to administer them yourself.

ABOUT Jan Carpenter 

Jan is the founder of Turn Over a New LEAF. He is a husband and father of two tweenage and primary school age children. He has two decades of experience as a social worker, specialising in leadership roles as well as protecting adults from oppression and abuse and working with people with mental health needs. Since 1998, Jan has worked with a variety of personal and business clients dealing with simple to complex circumstances, social conditions and health issues. This has given him a unique wealth of experience and confidence when working across a variety of workplace environments, social complexity, limiting beliefs and ‘dis-ease’.

Through Turn Over a New LEAF, Jan takes the following approach:

  • Let-go: Using Havening Techniques® let go on unresolved and unwanted emotions, leaving you with space in the mind to empower yourself
  • Empower: Using a blend of Havening, Brain Wave training, and NLP tools and techniques to help you apply different ways of thinking and frames of mind to embolden, energise and inspire.
  • Action: Increasing your sense of curiosity, exploration and fun, Jan works with you to set challenges for yourself. Develop understanding and change through doing.
  • Flourish: Apply the 8 pillars of Flourishing to ensure your range of humans needs are met for improved well-being and happiness

Using the tools that Turn Over A New LEAF offers, Jan has helped people lift, or alleviate, a number of life constraining conditions, leaving them feeling happier, ‘lighter’ and with greater well being. Among the conditions he has helped treat are insomnia, persistent worry, disturbing night terrors, severe hayfever, social anxiety, anxiety, early childhood trauma causing relationship issues, severe anxiety due to historical domestic violence, weight loss issues, chronic pain due to serious accidents, depression and anxiety symptoms stemming from bereavement, alcohol dependence, sibling rivalry, autoimmune symptoms.
