Teas, Cakes and Learning Zoom – Letting Go of Stress in These Challenging Times with Jan Carpenter
May 6th | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm UTC+0
Cake is great for bringing people together, so every Wednesday at 4.00pm we get the kettle on and encourage our members to down their tools for a slice.
Whilst the national restrictions are in place, we will introduce a number of additional online activities with our virtual Tea, Cakes and Learning Zooms.
This week we have Jan Carpenter with “Letting Go of Stress in These Challenging Times”.
Get the latest from neuroscience on this simple yet effective way of letting go of stress using Havening Techniques.
This session is for:
- Anyone who is experiencing stress in their life right now e.g. feeling stuck or trapped, down or worried, anxious due to coronavirus or something else etc
- Anyone who’s physical symptoms worsen due to stress e.g. pain, autoimmune flare-ups etc
We all have our own unique expression of stress, the symptoms of which are so varied but can include mental, emotional and physical symptoms. A blend of our past and current life experiences, genes and lifestyle habits result in how we think, feel and behave in response to life challenges.
Havening is a relaxing technique that helps you to let go of unwanted and unhelpful emotions and thoughts underlying stress. In this online group session, you will find out about how Havening works and enjoy a guided Havening experience yourself to support your emotional resilience during these challenging times.
Jan Carpenter is a Resilience Coach, NLP practitioner and Havening Techniques practitioner and trainer, previously a social worker specialising in mental health. Founder of Turn Over a New LEAF.
He has worked with a variety of personal and business clients giving him a unique wealth of experience when working across a variety of workplace environments, social complexity and ‘dis-ease’.
His focus now is on helping people build real authentic resilience from the inside out and optimising wellbeing at a time when it is needed most. Jan will be supported by Self Love Advocate Lorraine Natalie Love.
Wednesday Tea and Cake is open to all our members, including Connect. Replays are available for those who cannot make the live sessions.
