Impact Day

Postponed until further notice

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the ever-changing government guidelines, and in light of recent restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the launch of Impact Day until further notice. Due to the current situation, we feel this isn’t the right time to be encouraging people to travel and gather in our space. This is an initiative we feel really passionate about, and we can’t wait to get it off the ground as soon as it is safe to do so. We’ll keep you posted. Until then, stay safe and look after each other. Love, Impact Brixton.

We’re opening our doors to Brixton-based changemakers, providing local individuals and organisations with free space in our newly renovated co-working space in Brixton Village.

We will also be running Impact Brixton University, a series of free workshops and Q&A sessions with highly successful entrepreneurs, to help support and strengthen enterprises in Lambeth as they work to reach their goals.

6,000 sq ft of office space

20% extra capacity to facilitate social distancing

Street level lift for disabled access

available to anyone making a social impact

Anyone dedicated to creating real social impact can get in touch to use the space and attend the training programme – you don’t have to be a member of Impact Brixton. We have over 6,000 sq ft of office space, including meeting rooms, training rooms, podcast rooms, event space and hot desks. Thanks to recent renovations, the new space offers 20% extra capacity to facilitate social distancing, and disabled access via a lift at street level.

Our Selection Process

Whether you’re tackling climate change, empowering the local community, or getting food to the people that need it most, if you’re on a mission to make the world better then we want to support you.

We are working hard to make sure that everyone has equal opportunity to use our space. We want to make it clear that absolutely everyone is welcome to apply to work on something that will affect social change in our space. When demand is high, here’s how we’re deciding who to book into our space on Impact Day, in order of priority:

1. The first thing we’ll do is look at the activity that the individual or organisation will be doing in our space, and think about the social impact it will have. How many people will benefit from the work being done?
2. Next, we’ll look into the individual or organisation, carefully reading their response to our form to see how they’re affecting social change. We’ll consider the size of the organisation, whether they’re a charity, not-for-profit or limited company, and whether they’re local to Lambeth. We’re keen to help the individuals and companies that need it most.
3. Then, we’ll check back through our records to see whether the organisation has used our space before and how recently. We’ll always prioritise giving new individuals and companies access to our space.

This is a new initiative, and we’re very open to feedback on how we can improve. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any comments!
