IBU Lunch & Learn – How to make new friends in your 30’s+

Marilena has worked for events for 20 years, so observing social human behaviour has been her favourite work entertainment.

Plus she got her BSc Psychology early on in life and has constantly been expanding her knowledge on the human Psyche. And, she cannot have enough friends, so even now in her first year of 40+ is looking for new ways to meet new people and actually create meaningful friendships.

This session is for:

We all have our own unique expression of stress, the symptoms of which are so varied but can include mental, emotional and physical symptoms. A blend of our past and current life experiences, genes and lifestyle habits result in how we think, feel and behave in response to life challenges.

Havening is a relaxing technique that helps you to let go of unwanted and unhelpful emotions and thoughts underlying stress. In this online group session, you will find out about how Havening works and enjoy a guided Havening experience yourself to support your emotional resilience during these challenging times.

Jan Carpenter is a Resilience Coach, NLP practitioner and Havening Techniques practitioner and trainer, previously a social worker specialising in mental health. Founder of Turn Over a New LEAF.

He has worked with a variety of personal and business clients giving him a unique wealth of experience when working across a variety of workplace environments, social complexity and ‘dis-ease’.

His focus now is on helping people build real authentic resilience from the inside out and optimising wellbeing at a time when it is needed most. Jan will be supported by Self Love Advocate Lorraine Natalie Love.

This week we have Lorraine Natalie Love with “Hot Self Care Tips and Why You Should Motivate Yourself To Make Them Habits”.

During this time many people are taking the time to do things with their family that they wouldn’t usually have time to do, learning something new or binge-watching on NetFlix. But what about those people whose everyday life comes with a daily struggle of motivating themselves to function.

This taster session will not only give you 8 self-care tips but will also give you strategies for putting them into practice when you really don’t feel motivated to, especially if you live alone. We will also look at why it is important for each and every person to practice self-care.

Lorraine Natalie Love or Lolli, as she is known at IB, is a Self Love Advocate. Using the arts of words and Photography Lorraine encourages you to love themselves from the inside out. Over the past 18 years, Lorraine’s workshops and 1-2-1 photo sessions have supported over 10,000 women and young people in raising their self-esteem. Lorraine’s mission is to have you Love Yourself More. Lorraine will be supported by Havening Techniques Practioner Jan Carpenter.
