How do I check in, book a desk or manage my membership?
When you signed up to be a member, you should have recieved an email asking you to download the IB app….? Easy. Just download the Impact Brixton app (iOS and Android) and log in with the details you used to sign up. From there, you can check in, book desks or meeting rooms, update your plan, and more. If you need help using it, a host will happily show you around during your welcome meeting.
When can I access the space?
Our hosts are around from 9AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday. If you’re on an Unlimited membership you have access from 8.30am untill 8PM. Private office members get access from 7am – 11pm, as long as you’ve had an induction and know how to lock up securely.
Can I bring guests?
Yes—guests are welcome! You can bring them into communal areas for up to 2 hours free of charge. Longer than that? You’ll need to book a guest pass via the app (£21 inc VAT). All guests must check in at reception.
Do I need to attend a welcome meeting?
Yes, especially if you plan to stay past 6PM so we can run through our saftey checks, show you the fire exits and issue you with your new digital front door keys! We run New Members’ Meetings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday—it’s a great way to meet others, get tips on using the space, and ask any burning questions. Book your spot and feel at home!
What happens if I want to change or cancel my membership?
No problem. We have an initial minimum sign up term of two month. After that Just let us know by the 15th of the month if you’d like to make changes for the following month. If you let us know after the 15th of the month, your membership will continue and cancel at the end of the following month.
Is printing included?
Printing is available via PaperCut, our remote printing system. Just ask your Host to give you access and…? you’ll receive an invite to set it up. Black & white prints cost 20p, and colour prints are 30p per A4 page. You’ll be billed monthly. Photocopying is free within our fair use limits (10 A4 or 5 A3 pages per day).
Can I book meeting rooms or event spaces?
Yep! Just use the app. You’ll find all the info you need—pricing, availability, capacity—and you can pay directly through there. Need to cancel or reschedule? Check the app for our cancellation policy can we hyper link to the cancellation policy, as it should be on the website somewhere?) Impactctful Mondays, Tea & Cake Wednesdays, and Rum Punch Fridays. There’s also a monthly Members’ Lunch. Keep an eye on the kitchen noticeboard and the app for what’s coming up.
Is there tea and coffee?
Absolutely. Help yourself to unlimited fresh coffee and tea. Just clean up after yourself—either rinse things or pop them in the dishwasher.
How do I connect with the community?
Once you’ve filled out your profile in the IB app, you’ll have access to our online community—ask questions, offer your skills, or just say hi. It’s a great way to connect with other members and discover opportunities.
