A Very Special Place to Work
A Seriously Unique Office Space.
Impact Brixton has created a coworking office space that is unique within the sector. We are conscience-driven and community-led. We aim to provide office space, services and support to local business owners while at the same time inspiring and enabling them to create real social impact through the work they do.
Keeping the community together.
The company was formed by Gerald Vanderpuye and Jenine Baptiste, both local Brixtonians, to save Impact Hub Brixton from closure when its previous operator, the international Impact Hub organisation, decided to withdraw from Brixton. Kenny Akpan, also a local entrepreneur, has joined as an additional director to help with the digital programmes.
Black Owned, built for everyone.
The company is the only Black Owned coworking office space in England. We are pleased to say more than 50% of our employees and volunteers are from a BAME background. The company is run by 20 members of the local community. The directors communicate weekly to this entire team on operational and strategic decisions so they can hold the board accountable.
