Covid 19 Response
Ensuring our space is safe for all our members

A Safe Place to Work

We’ve made significant changes to ensure your safety

As lockdown measures begin to lift, our team is working really hard to make sure Impact Brixton is a safe place for you to work.

We’re taking everyone’s temperature on arrival, and checking them in to make sure that we know exactly how many people are in our space at any given time.

Extra Capacity

We also added 20% extra capacity to our space in our recent renovations, bringing us up to 6,000 sq ft. This is to make sure we can facilitate safe social distancing, in line with government guidelines. Please remember to keep a friendly 2-metre distance when you use our space.

Our app allows you to see how many people are using the space, so you can get a good idea of what to expect before you arrive. We’ll never exceed safe capacity, but we understand that some people like to have all the details before venturing out.

Sanitised Spaces

In every room, there is hand sanitiser, disinfectant wipes and cleaning spray for everyone to use. We also clean every workstation rigorously between use, to make sure that your desk is a safe space to work.

In line with government advice, we’re not requiring our team or our visitors to wear PPE. However if you’d like to, you’re more than welcome!

A Hold on all Events

Sadly, we’ve had to pause member events such as tea and cake, and Friday night drinks. This is to keep our members safe. We’re keeping a close eye on government guidelines, and we’re looking forward to bringing these events back as soon as it’s safe to do so!

The Community is Online!

We understand that not everyone is able to come and join us in our space at the moment. To make sure we keep in touch with our community, we’re posting all our Impact Brixton University events online, so that people can get involved from home.

You can get in touch with us via phone or email, if you have any questions or concerns. Our team will be more than happy to help.
