This week we have Carole Stagg with “Savouring (Not The Food Type)”.

A way to build positive emotions, increase your mental and social functioning and lead a flourishing life.

Looking after our mental health and wellbeing has been recognised as paramount to maintaining good physical health, building resilience and strengthening our immune system. How can we maximise the pleasant experiences in life and get the most from them?

In this taster session (pun intended, although it’s not really about food per se) we can start to understand Savouring as a concept, it’s links with Mindfulness and the part it plays in reducing stress and anxiety whilst increasing meaning and purpose in our lives.

 

This session is ideal for:

– This is for anyone who would like to know more about building positive emotions and positive affect.

 

Carole is a Positive Psychologist, Coach and Mindfulness (MBCT/SR) Facilitator with over 25 years experience in the field of Mental Health, Health and Wellbeing. With a background in fine Arts (MA RCA) and Psychology (MSc MAPP), she has combined her specialisms to enable individuals, groups, communities and organisations to flourish.

She has worked with the public, voluntary and private sector including Mind, SLAM and various borough Public Health and Health Trust departments. This includes two years in the NHS, developing a Health Coaching Pilot and Service within GP surgeries and Medical Centres. She currently runs a private coaching practice and works as a Wellbeing Consultant.

Rachael has successfully fundraised for projects ranging from youth work, community gardens, support for older people and volunteering.

Robin Pharoah can be considered one of the early pioneers of the use of anthropological thought and ethnographic research for research and innovation in the UK. He has founded a multiple award-winning research agency, worked across all sectors with multi-nationals, governments and the 3rd sector, and has recognised expertise in understanding Chinese culture and consumers, as well as working with ‘hard to reach’ populations locally and internationally to uncover new insights.

Sadiya Ali Hussein is a Digital Marketing Consultant, who specialises in Social Media Marketing. Her customers are from different markets, however, she always provides a creative social media strategy customised to meet the needs of each client.

Covid-19 era has resulted in a sharp rise in demand for online content. During the lockdown, we are trying to kill time, keep busy, seeking information, and calming ourselves, more and more people are turning to online content. A report by Facebook revealed that there’s been about a 70% increase in time spent on the application in Italy during the lockdown. In this webinar, you will learn how to effectively use social media to enhance your business’s aims during Covid-19. If you could please login on your PC/laptop. There will be an interactive section where you will need another browser open.

Sadiya has worked with small companies that are starting, large companies such as Hormuud Telecom (largest telecommunications company in Somalia) and also charities such as Orphans in Need. Sadiya values her clients and their business’s success.
